The Sisterhood consists of the women of the congregation, of all ages, backgrounds, and interests, who find joy in one another as they come together to celebrate their heritage, socialize, support, share and learn. They work to promote the interests of Judaism, serving the needs of the Temple and the community, while building bonds of friendship among women. Some of the activities the Sisterhood sponsors include: leading a beautiful and creative Shabbat service; cooking along with the Brotherhood for those in need in the Temple community; running a Temple Judaica Shop; planting a tree in Israel for each b’nai mitzvah; and hosting a “paid-up” supper.
